Roman Colosseum

What?
The Colosseum is a large building made by the Roman Empire. It is an amphitheatre built in elliptical shape, which can seat more than 60.000 spectators.
Where?
It stands in Rome, the capital of Italy; at the East of the Roman Forum. Thousands of people travelled there in order to watch the gladiator battles, executions and many other acts that the Emperors made for the espectators.
Who and How?
It was built by the Emperor Vespasiano, and the construction started in the year 70 BC. Ten years later it was finished, by the Emperor Tito. Also, it was modified during the empire of Domiciano. The last games were celebrated in the VI Century.
